What is Team RAHF? Team RAHF is a network of volunteer bass anglers that are willing to take a wounded Soldier, Sailor, Airmen, Marine, Disabled or Combat Veteran out fishing in their bass boat. The reason we are forming this team is to help us out with the requests we receive from wounded heroes from across the country to provide bass fishing trips for them.
The Reel American Heroes Foundation will supply each team member with a Lew’s spinning rod and reel combo as well as a fully stocked tackle box for you to give to each wounded hero that you take fishing. When we receive a request from a wounded hero located in your area, RAHF will contact you to schedule the bass fishing trip for the wounded hero. Once the bass fishing trip is scheduled we will ship the wounded heroes fishing equipment directly to you. At the end of the trip the wounded hero will keep the fishing equipment that you provide to him from RAHF.
Each wounded hero will be required to sign a Photo and Liability Release form prior to going out on the water to fish, we will send you this form to you along with the fishing equipment. We would like you to take pictures during your fishing trip with the wounded hero and send them to us so we can share them on our website and our Facebook page.
